Small Town

This song is about a small-town guy and girl. Their parents gave them the gift of song and a love for the simple things in life. It's a reminder that yes, this world has a lot to offer, but home is where the heart is. Even though material things can take up our time, nothing beats the shared love we give to one another.

The coronavirus has made this world seem smaller. All of us are experiencing this scary time. We are watching the world share in this life-threatening virus. Now is the perfect time to reflect and embrace the simple things in life—simple things like shared memories and traditions we have received from our family.

The one thing we have is the grace we can give each other. The helping hands we can lend to those who need it the most. This pandemic can teach us to "consider others better than ourselves." (Philippians 2:3) As humans, we all have the same blood, and we all have one life to live. Let's try to value what we have and find thankfulness in the little things.
