This last weekend I traveled to Atlanta and read a couple of books. It had me thinking why music is my dream. I came to the conclusion because I am passionate about telling a story and connecting with others. One song I wrote came rushing back to me it's called "Love on a Back Road". I couldn't get the words out of my mind. It goes "There's something more, more to love on a back road fire lit up more than a sideshow". I believe that is what a dream is made of. A dream is about something that tugs at our soul and something that is more than getting a lot of likes. The attention to the music would be great but without the "reason why" my music would not have the spark to light the fire in my soul and those I share it with.
